Open-air stage in Krimūnu parish

Customer: Dobele Regional Municipality

An open-air stage constructed from curved glulam beams with plywood roof structure. Arches are made with changing geometry to obtain the architectural outlines of the structure. The load-bearing structure is formed by curved glulam arches with span 13.72 m and total height of the structure is 7.20 m.

Residental house "Lediņi", Jaunsvirlauka parish, Jelgava region

An experimental design of private house, where wall are constructed from 400 mm thick laminated timber slabs without insulation and additional exterior finish. The slabs consist of 3 glulam layers with width 140 mm, 140 mm and 120 mm, glulam being oriented in different direction in each layer. The load-bearing structure of the roof is formed by 120 mm thick glulam slabs with glulam ribs. The height of walls is up to 4.08 m, free span of the roof structure up to 7.37 m. Total area of the building is 450 m2, composed of 97 separate wall and roof panels.

Construction of covered roof of open public skating rink on Pasta island, Jelgava

Customer: Jelgava City Municipality

The roof of the skating rink is formed by glulam frames, which are covered with membrane type roof cover. Mesh-like structures are mounted between columns, which protect the rink from effects of precipitation and wind. The structure is composed of three-hinged frame made of curved and variable cross-section members with total span 22.60 m. In addition, steel hollow profile beams of various dimensions are designed for strengthening and extra support for membrane roof cover.

Construction of roof of amphitheater type open-air stage Pasta island, Jelgava

Customer: Jelgava City Municipality

The structure of stage roof is composed of glulam members, supported by steel columns. A tensile membrane is used for roof cover, which can bear loads caused by snow and wind without additional supporting structures between roof arches. The structure is formed by curved glulam beams with span up to ~60 m, which are supported by an elliptical glulam ring beams. Loads are further distributed from the ring to steel columns, pylons and foundation.

Manufacturing building of "IKTK" Ltd

Customer: “IKTK” Ltd

The load-bearing frame is formed by glulam columns and beams with steel wind braces. Roof beams with curved bottom form 32.00 m span, on which glulam ridge element is attached for obtaining a gable roof and ensuring more convenient installation of roof cover.  Roof beams are based on varying height glulam columns. A shelf is created for columns, on which HEB 300 profile craneway beam is placed.

Open-air stage in Penkule

Customer: Dobele Regional Municipality

An open-air stage constructed pitched cambered glulam beams and glulam columns. Every beam has different dimensions to achieve double slope duo-pitch roof. The load-bearing structure is formed by glulam beam with span from 6.15 m to 15.24 m and total height of the structure is 6.00 m.
